Mercedes-Benz is making numerous updates and changes to its range. Among the most notable adjustments, Mercedes-Benz will add a new engine option to the rugged and powerful 2021 Mercedes-AMG G63. More powerful and efficient than ever, the G-Class AMG model is ready to deliver new and improved performance capabilities.
Replacing the previous model’s 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, the Mercedes-AMG G63 of 2021 will now be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. This new engine is capable of creating up to 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque.
These impressive new specifications translate into impressive performance, as the new Mercedes-AMG G63 is capable of going from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds, an improvement of 0.9 seconds over the 2018 model. In addition, the new AMG G-Class model is capable of reaching a limited top speed of 137 mph, or 149 mph with the AMG Driver’s package.
